Introducing the New 2020 Buick Encore GX

Buick is adding a jewel to its crown by introducing an all-new SUV to its already existing lineup. The New 2020 Buick Encore GX will be the company’s third SUV after the Encore and the Envision. The Encore GX will be bigger than the existing Encore and smaller than the Envision. This new addition to Buick’s lineup will compete in the subcompact and compact crossovers category and can be called a “subcompact plus” premium crossover SUV. The New 2020 Buick Encore GX is set to launch in the US in early 2020. No specifications are available yet but certain aspects of the 2020 Buick Encore GX’s design have been revealed. For instance, we do know that the 2020 Encore GX will have a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, an automatic transmission, and either front- or all-wheel drive. It is designed to offer more power than the Encore and will be launched in 2020 with a 1.4 liter, 138 hp, turbocharged engine. The Encore GX is supposed to have nearly 5 cubic feet more cargo space than the Encore and about 3 cubic feet less than the Envision, although the company is yet to release the dimensions of the new vehicle. The standard safety equipment in the 2020 Encore GX will include front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking, forward-collision alert, and lane-keep assist with lane departure warning.

Optional features will include a rear-camera mirror and high-definition surround-vision camera system, according to the reports. According to speculations, the cost of the Encore GX is estimated to start from about $26,000 or $27,000. That makes it fall somewhere between the $24,195 Encore and the $33,190 Envision. According to the Vice President of Global Buick and GMC, Duncan Aldred, the Encore GX is capable of positioning strongly as a consideration for those who want to purchase small or compact SUVs. Buick plans to announce further product specifications and pricing information closer to the launch of the vehicle, although the crossover’s dimensions are almost known to all reviewers by now. Like the Encore, the Encore GX will also be assembled by GM Korea and imported into the U.S. To get your hands on a 2020 Encore GX just after its launch, get in touch with us
