Which 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Trim Level Will You Choose?
The 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 is part of the third generation Sierra 1500 introduced in 2014. The GMC Sierra 1500 is a continuation of its predecessors but has fewer configurations.
The 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 is available in two variants; a cheaper base variant and a comfortable, albeit expensive trim. Both trim levels have a 5.3-liter V8 engine that offers 383 lb-ft torque with 355 horsepower. The trims are also equipped with six-speed automatic transmission.
2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Base
The Base variant is, for the lack of a better word, sparse. The truck has AppleCarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB ports, and a six-speaker audio system. It comes equipped with a trailer hitch, its 2-inch receiver, automatic locking, and a 3.5-inch monochrome instrument cluster display. On the other hand, floor mats are optional in this trim.
2019 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE
The SLE trim is a surprising upgrade for the Base trim, with floor mats, LED bed lighting, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Its infotainment system includes an 8-inch touchscreen, 4G WiFi hotspot, and interspersed audio controls in addition to all the features in the Base trim.
The SLE trim has interior upgrades as well, with aluminum wheels, and a 4.2-inch instrument cluster display. The mirror and handles also see an upgrade to the body color instead of the Base black.
You can choose several option packages depending on your needs, such as the Suspension package, the Value package, and the ornamental Black package.
Which Trim Level Will You Choose?
Choosing the best trim level for the GMC Sierra is not difficult, as there are only two variants. While shoppers on a budget will buy the base trim, the luxurious SLE is a better choice, as it offers all the features of the base level along with Premium packages. While you may have to shell out a bit more, you will certainly find value for the money you spend.
